Protection

Sealing all natural stone, tiles and pavers provides the best protection against stains, dirt and damage from natural elements.

BTS Sealing are accredited applicators for Dry Treat and Aquamix for over 22 years. Most of the products we use come with a 15 year manufactures warranty.

We offer the following sealing services:

Cleaning and sealing natural stones
A process that involves cleaning and detailing your natural stone prior to applying an invisible breathable sealer. This process will provide a water and oil repellant surface without changing the look, colour or texture of your stone.

Dip sealing
A procedure where natural stones are fully submerged into a bath of Dry Treat 40SK consolidating sealant. A method that ensures all 6 sides of the stone’s surface is salt safe for a minimum period of 15 years. This process is often applied to salt water swimming pools and ocean facing properties prior to the application of the final clean and seal.

Pre-sealing
A process that involves fully submerging moisture sensitive stone in a water-based pre-seal prior to installation. This method helps keep the stone in a cleaner and easier to handle condition. A final clean and seal will be applied after the installation process.

Anti graffiti applications
Help protect your natural surface from graffiti with applications of water base wax or penetrating sealer.

Maintenance

Regularly self-cleaning your natural stone surface is highly recommended to extend the life of your stone. Some clients however, prefer to have their stone professionally cleaned, which could be anywhere from 12-36 months after the initial installation to keep the stone looking its best.

We offer the following cleaning services:

Deep cleaning
We use a mechanical rotary scrubbing machine that lifts dirt and cleans the surface whilst being kind to the surface of the stone. Gentle high pressure water blasting is used for extreme cleaning.  An application of mould killer and neutralization is a standard process we use to deliver a near new finish.

We also provide a variety of specialist chemical cleaning processes to focus on more extreme problem areas. These include:

Acidic washing used for cleaning up grout haze, efflorescence, calcification etc.

Mould killer applications to kill the last of the organic matter deep within the stone surface

Caustic alkaline detergents for the removal of greasy and oily areas

Poultice applications for the removal of stubborn stains

Renewal

BTS Sealing also provide honing and polishing services to renew the surfaces of marble, limestone, sandstone, terazzo, granite etc.

We use the latest Klindex and KGS diamond abrasive honing and polishing systems for the renewal of your natural stone. This process removes the top surface of the stone leaving a new surface free from stains and imperfections; it’s like having a brand new floor, wall or bench top again.
